Our team of architects has developed leading tools, apps, and accelerators to help fill fundamental gaps in the Digital Core and Supply Chain Planning applications. These products are fundamental to supply chain planning and operations at many of our industry leading clients today and can drive real value and differentiation to your business.
While enterprise solutions promise end to end capability to support your business, it is often the case where certain critical functional gaps or inefficiencies exist when mapping to your specific business process. Our portfolio of Accelerators has been built out over many years as our team encounters those gaps with clients across multiple industries and then creates solutions for them. These can often be dropped into your system in a matter of days with the knowledge that the solution has been vetted with millions of transactions from years of client usage.
Operations teams want to manage their Product Allocations quantities on a regular basis but SCM’s DP Planning Books are slow and cumbersome.
AMC is a bolt on to APO that allows for flexible management of Allocation and Order confirmation quantities on the same screen. Build on a completely configurable (rows, colors, calculations, etc) ALV grid structure, the xls-like user interface is up to 12x faster than managing in Planning Books while allowing multiple users to update data simultaneously.
Demo linkOften times the hardest part about Allocation isn’t managing the values… its coming up with the equitable splits to begin with. Fair share, tops down, first come, etc strategies for filling Allocation buckets with constrained supply is a challenge for all.
Leveraging data from both planning and execution systems along with a library of algorithms for the business teams to choose, the system will distribute the supply data set across the customer buckets to ensure the initial values map to the business strategy.
Once a sales order has been saved, the details of the ATP situation are lost. There is no historical log of the ATP checks for process improvement analysis.
ACC creates a log for all ATP checks and provides a report to query those logs and perform on-demand Back Order Processing directly from the screen.
Demo linkInability to source PM Order components from multiple plants or utilize substitute products. Inefficient and costly inventory consumption.
Packaged GATP solution enabling rules-based ATP for PM Orders (not possible through standard SAP).
Thousands of man-hours are required for rework when a new rules-based ATP check deletes sub items. All previously performed manual changes to sub items (like pricing conditions, texts, …) are lost and promised delivery dates can fluctuate.
The accelerator code exchanges the plant and material on the main item without creating sub items in the sales order. It’s a modification which can be implemented on the ECC side and it is also compatible with APO backorder processing.
The large and complex sizing matrices associated with the SAP-AFS solution can result in Rescheduling runtimes far beyond what is acceptable to the business driving suboptimal workaround and usage models of the platform.
SCMA has enhanced the logic to work more efficiently leveraging more modern techniques and parallel processing to bring the runtimes down from many hours to mere minutes allowing the teams to use the Rescheduling capability the way it was intended.
Forecast adjustments occur throughout the planning cycle. However, standard SAP functionality does not provide a user log that records the time, date, and value change of key figure changes in demand planning areas.
The Demand Planning change log monitor allows real-time key figure demand planning area detailed user changes (ie. value, timestamp, user, batch or interactive, etc.) to be logged for reporting and analysis purposes. This eliminates cumbersome batch job processing to capture changes via backup methods.
Demo linkSales teams and even those closer to operations hate to use the native APO DP transaction to upload data from xls – its cumbersome, slow, and can crash with large data volumes.
Custom built functions designed for speed allow used to upload thousands of rows of data in second allowing them to spend more time in xls on the business process and less time loading data into DP.
Ensuring the Master Data is complete and accurate prior to SNP solver runs, analyzing / storing CTM solve logs, and extracting mass data in real time is very challenging within APO.
This Accelerators provides a series of queries along with a few custom tables to quickly analyze Master Data, CTM Logs, and super fast liveCache order series data extractions.
Extracting large data sets from DP and SNP planning areas is slow and cumbersome.
This report lets you pull the data, in real time, directly from liveCache for immediate download to a planner’s best friend: xls.
Printing paper picklists and tracking product / batch selection in the warehouse is wasteful and time consuming with out the appropriate way to track efficiency.
Handheld application (iOS or Android) which has a real-time connection to the SAP Delivery details guiding the picker through the warehouse in the most optimal path. Realtime pick validation and confirmations visible to the enterprise.
Even with advanced SAP eWM capability, routing a picker through the warehouse racks in the most efficient way isn’t optimized or easily adjusted as warehouse configurations change.
Using easily managed meta data tags and ranking on the warehouse bin, bay, rack, etc layout, we have developed algorithms that search through all possible paths a picker could take and then minimize the steps through the racks to return a sorted picklist with the most efficient path.

SCMA was able to design, develop, and deploy a full quote-to-cash system for our configure to order business in seven months! Our customers can now configure their own high performance servers on a portal they love and let us price and convert seamlessly. We are now running billions of dollars of revenue through the system.
— Semiconductor Company
Our SAP AFS Rescheduling program used to run in three to four days so we couldn’t use it and had to do everything manually. SCMA rewrote the program and now it runs in three to four hours!
— Apparel Company
By helping us define and ultimately implement a Finish to Order process, our MFG lead times were reduced and our rework nearly eliminated saving us close to $9M per quarter
— Semiconductor Company
We were unable to leverage advanced gATP capabilities like Rules-based and Production Allocation as the native capability conflicted with our current platforms. We deployed SCMA’s Subitem Suppression and Allocation Management products in a matter of weeks and was good to go!
— Pharmaceutical Company
Every sales order we process at our company runs through SCMA’s Allocation Management Cockpit and has for years. That’s millions of transactions and hundreds of billions of dollars!
— High Tech Consumer Products Company
Getting data out of SAP APO for our reporting used to run in a daily batch job taking anywhere from twelve to fifteen hours. Once we deployed SCMA’s liveCache extractor, that batch job was running in minute.
